Recently, we’ve seen the debut of the Dodge Charger EV and electric Ram 1500 REV; now comes the Jeep Wagoneer S.
Jeep has released few details at this point, only saying the Wagoneer S will have standard four-wheel drive (which Jeep has branded 4xe for the electrified era) and 600 horsepower. The combo should be good for 0-60 mph in about 3.5 seconds, according to the company.

Guesses, Educated and Somewhat Less So
Beyond reassuring brand faithful that the electric Wagoneer will still have a seven-slot grille, that’s all Jeep has to say about its first fully electric vehicle for now. But we can make some educated guesses based on what we know of other upcoming Stellantis EVs. Both the upcoming Charger and Ram 1500 REV are said to use either a 400- or 800-volt electrical architecture that enables DC fast charging. Claimed range for the Ram tops out at 500 miles (there’s no official word yet for the Charger).

The Wagoneer S should use Stellantis’ STLA battery-electric platform, which the 1500 REV uses. Jeep’s short teaser video announcing the Wagoneer S shows a much faster backlight than the gas-powered Wagoneer’s, so the styling of the electric Wagoneer S may depart dramatically from that of its sibling.

Jeep says the electric Wagoneer S will go on sale in the fall of 2024, so a full reveal can’t be too far away.
