Mercedes-Benz is recalling approximately 105,000 of its GLE mid-size and GLS full-size SUVs for faulty transmissions.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2020-23 GLE450s and GLS450s.

Dealers will update the transmission control unit software for free to resolve the problem.

Owners will be notified April 16, but those with further questions can contact Mercedes-Benz at 800-367-6372, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
