Genesis has released pricing for the all-new 2025 GV80 Coupe, letting us put it into context.

Including a $1,350 destination charge, the new GV80 Coupe starts at $81,300. That’s quite a leap from the GV80 SUV’s $59,050 base price, but that sticker is affixed to a base vehicle with the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The GV80 Coupe’s base variant aligns more with the GV80 3.5T Prestige, meaning its $81,300 base price represents an upcharge of just $650 over the similar SUV.

The GV80 Coupe is only available with the SUV’s optional 3.5T powertrain. The twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 manages 375 horsepower and 391 pounds-feet of torque, which it sends through an eight-speed automatic transmission to standard all-wheel drive. Buyers can opt for the 3.5 e-Supercharger for just ,800 more; not available on the regular GV80, this engine adds a 48-volt electric supercharger, spiking output to 409 hp and 405 pounds-feet.

Fuel economy figures aren’t available for the GV80 Coupe yet, but the 3.5T’s figures are unlikely to move much from the SUV’s EPA-rated 16/22/19 mpg city/highway/combined.

With the GV80 Coupe’s base variant being pretty much a loaded SUV with the roof chopped, it includes nearly every luxury, safety and tech feature Genesis can dream up as standard equipment. It rides on 20-inch wheels and features an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential, as well as the brand’s advanced Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, which scans the road ahead with a camera and adjusts spring and damper rates at each wheel in anticipation of upcoming bumps and divots.

Standard equipment also includes LED lighting front and rear, a panoramic moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate with a kick sensor, power-closing doors, keyless entry, push-button start and Genesis Digital Key 2, which allows owners to use a paired smartphone as a key. The interior features matte-finish wood trim and is upholstered in Nappa leather in a range of attractive — and occasionally daring — two-tone color combinations. The front and outboard rear seats are heated and ventilated, the driver’s seat massages, and the steering wheel and center console are heated.

Opting for the e-Supercharger also adds 22-inch wheels, carbon-fiber trim, quad exhaust tips and alloy pedals.

A single 27-inch screen serves as both the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. It features navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, active noise cancellation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and satellite and HD radio. Wireless smartphone charging and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system are also standard.

Predictably, the GV80 Coupe also features a comprehensive suite of advanced safety features. Standard equipment includes a head-up display, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure steering assist, lane-centering steering, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot cameras with emergency steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system and automated parking.

The 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe will go on sale this summer. It stickers for $81,300 for the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 and $87,100 with the e-Supercharger.
