Fiat is rolling out a series of mostly single-spec special(ish) editions, and the latest is the 2024 Fiat 500e Inspired by Los Angeles.

Like the 500e Inspired by Beauty and Inspired by Music that came before, the Inspired by Los Angeles features paint and upholstery meant to evoke its namesake. In this case, that means a Marine Layer Mist exterior color inspired by the morning fog that punctuates early summer in Southern California. Fiat says the coastal marine layer “gives the City of Angels a magical and complex feel”

Matte-gray mirror caps and black window trim continue the misty theme on the outside, while the interior of the 500e Inspired by Los Angeles is upholstered in beige synthetic leather. The electric hatchback also features a standard seven-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer.

The 500e Inspired by Los Angeles includes a standard Level 2 driver-assist system that combines adaptive cruise control and lane departure steering assist. Like Ford’s BlueCruise and GM’s Super Cruise, the feature will only work on certain roads.

The 2024 500e’s battery and powertrain are unchanged for the special edition. A single front-mounted electric motor generates 117 horsepower and 162 pounds-feet of torque, propelling the Fiat from 0-60 mph in a claimed 8.5 seconds. The 42-kilowatt-hour battery pack is good for an EPA-rated range of up to 149 miles with summer tires; the 500e can only manage 141 miles with all-seasons. The 500e needs six hours to completely recharge on a Level 2 home charger and can juice up from 0% to 80% in about 35 minutes with a DC fast charger.

The 2024 Fiat 500e Inspired by Los Angeles is available to order now and will arrive at dealers in the third quarter of this year. It is priced at the same $37,595 (including $1,595 destination)
