Enhanced Powertrain and Efficiency

The 2025 Lexus UX 300h Hybrid marks a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the UX 250h. With Lexus swapping out the powertrain, the new model is not only more powerful but also more efficient. The 2025 UX 300h is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine assisted by two electric motors and a battery pack. This setup generates a total system output of 196 horsepower, a 15-hp improvement over the 2024 model.

Additionally, the new UX 300h is the first Lexus to feature Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system. The continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) sends power to the front wheels on all trim levels, while an all-wheel-drive option, costing ,570 extra, powers the rear wheels with a third electric motor without changing the system output.

Fuel Efficiency and Performance

When it comes to fuel efficiency, the 2025 Lexus UX 300h impresses. The front-wheel-drive variants return an EPA-rated 45/41/43 mpg city/highway/combined, while the all-wheel-drive versions deliver 44/40/42 mpg. This makes the new UX 300h not just more powerful but also more economical, a crucial factor for potential buyers.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Lexus UX 300h is available for purchase now, starting at a base price of ,490, which includes a ,150 destination charge. This is a slight increase of $1,000 over the previous model. The full pricing structure is as follows:

  • Base: $37,490
  • Premium: $40,690
  • F Sport Design: $41,440
  • F Sport Handling: $45,955

Advanced Safety Features

Lexus ensures safety remains a priority with its Safety System 3.0, standard on all UX 300h models. This suite includes features like forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, intersection assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, emergency steering assist, lane-centering steering, and road-sign recognition.

The base model comes with 18-inch wheels, LED front lighting, keyless entry and starting, synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, six speakers, and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Premium trim level elevates the experience with parking sensors, a power moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

Both F Sport trims feature more aggressive styling with unique 18-inch wheels and black finishes on the roof, grille, and exterior trim. While the F Sport Design focuses on aesthetics, the F Sport Handling adds an adaptive sport suspension, enhanced front seat bolstering, a heated steering wheel, aluminum pedals, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker audio system, and a hands-free power liftgate.
