Introduction to Nissan Maintenance Care Program

Nissan is introducing a new initiative aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and vehicle performance. The Nissan Maintenance Care program will offer free oil changes for new cars, including those from its luxury subsidiary, Infiniti. This program is designed to provide buyers with additional value and peace of mind.

Program Details and Eligibility

The Nissan Maintenance Care program covers up to three oil changes within the first two years or 24,000 miles of ownership, whichever comes first. With the average American driving over 13,000 miles per year, most drivers will reach the mileage cap before the time limit. This program is applicable only to new model-year 2025 vehicles that are either leased or purchased. It will initially launch in August with the 2025 Nissan Kicks and Rogue, and is expected to expand to the rest of the brand’s lineup by January.

Comparison with Other Brands

By offering this free maintenance program, Nissan joins more than two dozen other automotive brands that provide similar services. These programs vary significantly, covering different aspects of scheduled maintenance and offering varying periods of time and mileage caps. Some brands also include additional perks like loaner vehicles or rental-car allowances. Despite these differences, the inclusion of free maintenance is generally viewed as a goodwill gesture to customers.

Conclusion

While the specifics of the Nissan Maintenance Care program may not be the sole factor in a buyer’s decision, the availability of free oil changes can certainly add value. Routine oil changes, which often include vehicle inspections and tire rotations, typically cost around 0. Therefore, this initiative not only saves customers money but also encourages them to visit the dealership regularly for maintenance, fostering long-term customer relationships.
