Introduction to the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Coupe

The transition to electrification is bringing substantial changes in the automotive industry, and the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Coupe is at the forefront of this evolution. Priced from $61,590, this all-electric vehicle marks a significant leap from its predecessor, shedding the supercharged V-8 engine for an advanced electric powertrain.

Powertrain Specs and Range

The 2024 Charger Daytona will launch with two versions: the R/T and Scat Pack. Both variants feature a 100.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack feeding electric motors on both axles for standard all-wheel drive. In the R/T trim, these motors combine to deliver 456 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and offering a range of 317 miles on a single charge. The high-performance Scat Pack, on the other hand, delivers an impressive 630 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, hitting 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, with a range of 260 miles.

Safety Features and Trim Levels

The 2024 Charger Daytona comes well-equipped with modern safety features, including forward collision warning, lane departure steering assist, blind-spot intervention, and adaptive cruise control among others. Standard trims include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Availability and Pricing

Scheduled to arrive at dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2024, the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona comes with a starting price of ,590 for the R/T and ,185 for the Scat Pack. Notably, the price cap for federal EV tax credits does not apply to leased vehicles, providing buyers with different cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, buyers have the option of a Level 2 home charging station or 0 in credits for the Free2Move charging network.
