Introduction: The Aston Martin Vanquish Makes a Comeback

The Aston Martin Vanquish is back, and it’s not just a reskinned DB12 or DBS. With a stretched wheelbase, reinforced underbody, and advanced underpinnings, this latest model promises to be stronger and more capable than ever before. This blog post delves into the specifics of what makes the new Vanquish stand out in both design and performance.

Enhanced Structural Integrity

The new Aston Martin Vanquish has a wheelbase that is stretched by 3.1 inches, providing improved proportions and a more robust structure. Comparatively, it’s 75% stiffer than the DBS 770 Ultimate, thanks to underbody reinforcements, thicker front and rear undertrays, and sturdier bracing in the nose and tail. This increased stiffness contributes to better handling and driving dynamics.

Performance Upgrades

Under the hood, the Vanquish features a redesigned 5.2-liter V-12 engine, now with reinforced components for greater strength. The engine delivers an astounding 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful V-12 Aston Martin ever. The top speed of 214 mph surpasses even the DBS 770 Ultimate, and the car accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Carbon-ceramic brakes, Bilstein BTX dampers, and specially designed Pirelli tires further enhance the Vanquish’s performance.

Refined Styling and Modern Equipment

Stylistically, the Vanquish retains the elegant yet aggressive look that Aston Martin is known for. The car features a new front bumper, fenders, and a 13% larger grille for better cooling. The rear employs a ‘kamm tail’ design, stacked ‘light blade’ LEDs, and a wide diffuser with four exhaust finishers. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a standard 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and touchscreen, and a center console designed for improved user experience.

Conclusion

The Aston Martin Vanquish has returned with significant enhancements in both design and performance. Whether it’s the stronger and faster engine, the reinforced body structure, or the updated interior, the new Vanquish stands out as a formidable entry in the luxury sports car segment. With its combination of power, style, and advanced features, the Vanquish promises to offer an unparalleled driving experience.
