An Iconic Milestone

The Lexus LS marks a significant milestone in 2025 as it celebrates its 35th birthday. This luxury sedan, which was pivotal in launching the Lexus brand, remains largely unchanged for this model year. The LS continues to embody the luxury, performance, and innovation that consumers have come to expect, now offered at a starting price of $81,685, which is $1,000 more than the previous year.

Powertrains and Performance

For 2025, the Lexus LS offers two impressive engine options. The LS 500 features a robust twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6, delivering 416 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, available in both rear- and all-wheel drive. The hybrid LS 500h utilizes a larger 3.5-liter V-6 combined with electric motors for a total output of 354 hp. Interestingly, the fuel efficiency ratings remain competitive, ensuring that drivers do not compromise on performance for efficiency.

Safety and Technology Enhancements

Safety remains paramount in the Lexus LS, with the introduction of advanced safety features under the Lexus Safety System. The LS 500h is equipped with System 2.5, which includes features like forward collision warnings and lane-keeping assist. Moreover, the LS 500 has an upgraded System 3.0, offering even more comprehensive safety measures. Both models include innovative technology to assist with driving, reflecting Lexus’s commitment to enhancing driver experience while ensuring safety on the roads.
