Introduction to the 2026 Models

The Genesis GV70 and its all-electric counterpart, the Electrified GV70, have been popular choices in the luxury compact SUV market since their launch. After gaining recognition, including the Best Luxury Car of 2024 award for the Electrified GV70, these models are set to receive significant refreshes ahead of the upcoming 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Exterior Updates and Features

While the changes to the 2026 models may be subtle, they reflect Genesis’s commitment to continuous improvement. The gas-powered GV70 features a new front and rear bumper aesthetic, alongside revised exhaust finishers and an open crosshatch front grille. Other notable additions are updated headlights, redesigned wheels, and reworked rear turn signals. For the Electrified GV70, an important upgrade includes the transition to a North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port, simplifying access to the Tesla Supercharger network.

Interior Enhancements and Technology

Inside the refreshed GV70 and Electrified GV70, the most significant updates center on the cockpit design. The traditional separate instrument cluster and infotainment screen have been replaced with an impressive 27-inch widescreen display. This design not only creates a modern appearance but also enhances usability through redesigned center air vents and streamlined vehicle controls. Additional improvements include enhanced voice controls, over-the-air update capabilities, and a new terrain mode aimed at optimizing performance across varying conditions.

These enhancements solidify Genesis’s reputation for luxury and technology, ensuring that both the GV70 and Electrified GV70 will continue to impress drivers and passengers alike.
