Revolutionizing the Ride

After a near four-decade hiatus, Can-Am is back in the motorcycle game, and this time, they’re not just dipping their toes—they’re plunging headfirst into the electric vehicle (EV) pool. Known primarily for their three-wheeled performance machines, the brand has shifted its focus towards an all-electric future, eyeing a dominant position in the UK market.

The New Lineup

Can-Am’s electrifying entry features two new models: the £15,399 Origin adventure bike and the £14,899 Pulse naked roadster. They cater to both beginners and experienced riders with variants available in A1 license-compliant 125cc equivalents, as well as a larger A2 license option boasting 47bhp. The brand is clearly aiming to attract a wide audience, tapping into the rising appetite for electric two-wheelers.

Paving the Way for the Future

President & CEO, Boisjoli, emphasizes the potential of the electric motorcycle sector. With no established giants in the two-wheeled EV market, Can-Am sees a golden opportunity. “We’ve made a commitment towards electrifying our line-up,” he stated. So while the automotive sector may be hitting a plateau, Can-Am is convinced that the electric bike demand will soar. Their sole focus is on electric models, aiming to lead the charge in a space filled with potential.

As Can-Am steers into this exciting chapter, it’s clear they’re determined to light the way for electric motorcycling.
