Introduction to the 2025 Nissan Murano

Nissan’s mid-size Murano SUV has undergone a complete transformation for the 2025 model year. Priced from $41,860, this revamped vehicle offers a more considerable, striking design and an array of impressive features. With an upgraded exterior and enhanced interior, the new Murano is set to captivate both existing fans and new buyers alike.

Powertrain Enhancements and Efficiency

The previous generation Murano featured a normally aspirated V-6 engine that may have felt outdated in comparison to its competitors. The 2025 model rectifies this with a robust new powertrain: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 241 horsepower and 260 pounds-feet of torque. This new engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, a notable improvement over the outgoing model’s setup. The Murano’s fuel economy shows slight gains as well, achieving an EPA-rated 21/27/23 mpg city/highway/combined.

Safety Features and Technological Advances

The 2025 Nissan Murano doesn’t just shine in design and performance; it also prioritizes safety. A comprehensive suite of standard safety technologies includes forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and ProPILOT Assist. The base SV trim is well-equipped with additional features like keyless entry and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The higher SL and Platinum trims elevate the experience with added luxury and functionality, ensuring that the Murano caters to a wide range of preferences.
