2025 Audi Q3: Black Optic Plus Package and Updated Pricing

Introduction to the 2025 Audi Q3

The 2025 Audi Q3 marks the seventh year of the current generation of this popular SUV. As Audi continues to transition into its electric era, the Q3 receives an optional visual upgrade for the 2025 model year. This blog post delves into the new Black Optic Plus Package, powertrain specifications, availability, pricing, and safety features of the 2025 Audi Q3.

Black Optic Plus Package

The most notable change for the 2025 Audi Q3 is the introduction of the Black Optic Plus Package. This package includes black 19-inch wheels (with an option for 20-inch wheels), black exterior mirror housings, trim, badging, and roof rails. Inside, the package adds red stitching, S line logos embossed into the front seats, carbon-fiber trim, and stainless steel pedals. These enhancements provide a sleek and modern aesthetic, distinguishing it from the 2024 model.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

Audi offers the Q3 with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine available in two states of tune. The Q3 40 is powered by an engine producing 184 horsepower and 221 pounds-feet of torque, while the Q3 S line 45 delivers 228 horsepower and 251 pounds-feet of torque. Both variants come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The 2024 Q3 40 has an EPA rating of 22/29/25 mpg city/highway/combined, and the S line 45 achieves 20/28/23 mpg. Official figures for the 2025 model are not yet available.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Audi Q3 is set to go on sale later this year. Pricing, including the $1,295 destination fee, is as follows:

  • 40 Premium: $38,695
  • 40 Premium Plus: $41,495

Safety Features and Trim Levels

Standard safety features on the 2025 Audi Q3 include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors. The Q3 40 and Q3 S line 45 are nearly identical in their standard equipment, with the latter featuring different front and rear styling and additional options. The Premium trim includes 18-inch wheels, LED lighting, a power liftgate, and a panoramic moonroof. Inside, it features leather upholstery, heated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-speaker audio system, and an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upgrading to the Premium Plus trim adds keyless entry and starting, a 360-degree camera system, a wireless charging pad, and adjustable ambient lighting.

The 2025 Audi Q3 continues to offer a blend of performance, luxury, and safety in a compact SUV package, with the new Black Optic Plus Package providing a stylish upgrade for discerning customers.
