2025 Cadillac CT5: Starts at $48,990

Cadillac’s face-lift of the 2025 CT5 follows the big-screen trend of vehicles in the mid-2020s: mild exterior tweaks — in this case, an enlarged grille standing slightly more upright than before and the requisite LED-headlight refresh — and a mondo screen inside.

Measuring 33 inches, the LED screen takes the place of the instrument cluster and the central touchscreen. It features Google Built-In technology with a customizable display and Google’s Assistant, Maps and Play functions. The 2025 CT5 also gets new standard safety tech, including Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking and the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.

Things in the engine room are unchanged from the 2024 model year. The entry-level engine remains a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder putting out 237 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque; a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 is available and generates 335 hp and 405 pounds-feet. Cadillac says details on the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will be available at a later date.

A 10-speed automatic is the only transmission available. Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, and all-wheel drive is optional. Official fuel-economy estimates are not yet available for the face-lifted car, but they’re not likely to change from the 2024 model year. With the four-cylinder and RWD, the 2024 CT5 gets an EPA-rated 23/33/27 mpg city/highway/combined; AWD drops those numbers to 22/30/25 mpg. The V-6 is rated at 19/27/22 with RWD and 18/26/21 with AWD.

For 2025, the entry-level trim is the Premium Luxury, which wears a black grille with chrome accents and rides on 18-inch wheels. In addition to the newly standard safety systems, the Premium Luxury includes a dual-pane sunroof, AKG audio system, 360-degree parking camera system, heated steering wheel, and front seats with heating, ventilation and massage.

The Sport variant features black exterior trim, 19-inch wheels, synthetic leather upholstery, carbon-fiber interior trim and aluminum pedals.

The 2025 CT5 will be on sale soon. The Premium Luxury trim starts at $48,990, and the Sport variant starts at $49,990 (all prices include $1,395 destination).
