Introduction to the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette

The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette continues to solidify its reputation as America’s supercar, especially with its impressive starting price of under $70,000. Since moving the engine behind the passengers in 2020, the Corvette’s status has only grown, complemented by new high-performance options such as the 670-horsepower Z06 and the blistering 233 mph ZR1, expected to arrive in 2025.

Pricing and Variants

A base Stingray Coupe starts at an astonishing $69,995, just shy of the coveted $70,000 mark. This price includes the destination fee of $1,695. In addition to the Stingray, the lineup features the E-Ray priced at 8,595 and the Z06 at 3,795. The Corvette offers a standard coupe with a removable targa roof, whereas a convertible version is available for an additional ,000.

Powertrain Performance and Fuel Economy

The lasting appeal of the Corvette lies in its formidable performance and relatively economical pricing. The entry-level model boasts a robust 490-hp, 6.2-liter V8 engine, hitting 0-60 mph in approximately three seconds. The E-Ray hybrid enhances this experience with an output of 655 hp, achieving 60 mph in about 2.5 seconds. Despite their impressive power, the Corvette models remain efficient, with the Stingray providing an EPA-estimated 19 mpg combined. The Z06, while offering exhilarating performance, has a slightly lower fuel economy at 14 mpg combined.
