2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 : Minor Updates, Priced From $68,300

Now, with Genesis EVs being available in 37 states, more Americans can get into the Electrified GV70. Shoppers will also find the vehicle little changed from the 2024 model, but wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now standard, as is Genesis Connected Services, which gives owners remote access to the vehicle through a smartphone app.
Every 2025 Electrified GV70 is powered by electric motors on the front and rear axles for standard all-wheel drive. The motors combine for a total of 429 horsepower and 516 pounds-feet of torque; drivers can click the vehicle into Boost mode and unlock 483 hp for up to 10 seconds at a time.

The motors draw on a 77.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack; for the 2024 model, that was good for an EPA-rated 236 miles of range (official 2025 figures are not yet available). While that figure is lower than many currently available EVs, the GV70 can charge at up to 350 kilowatts on a compatible DC fast charger, juicing the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes or adding more than 60 miles in a mere five minutes.

The 2025 Electrified GV70 will go on sale later this year. The Advanced trim has a starting price of $68,300, and the Prestige starts at $75,100 (all prices include $1,350 destination).

States with Genesis EV dealerships include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
The 2025 Electrified GV70 is well equipped from the start, featuring two of Genesis’s most advanced technologies as standard equipment. Road Preview uses a camera to scan the road ahead for surface irregularities and proactively prepares the suspension at individual wheels for upcoming bumps and divots. Other brands offer similar systems but typically only on six-figure vehicles, where they’re still an added-cost option. Genesis’s Highway Driving Assist 2 combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering steering to provide semi-autonomous driving, so long as the driver’s hands remain on the wheel.

In addition, the Advanced rides on 20-inch wheels and features full LED exterior lighting, a panoramic moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate, and keyless entry and start. Inside, there’s leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charging and a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, satellite radio, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Electrified GV70 also features a generous complement of standard safety systems. The list includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection and junction assist; adaptive cruise control; blind spot cameras with steering assist; lane departure steering assist; rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking; a 360-degree camera system; front and rear parking sensors; and automated parking.

Stepping up to the Prestige trim nets Nappa leather seats, a synthetic leather dash, a synthetic suede headliner, heated rear seats and steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, and a 15-speaker Lexicon audio system.
