An Overview of Pricing Changes for the 2025 Ford Escape

The 2025 Ford Escape is making headlines in the automotive market with a notable price reduction. Typically, new cars experience price increases each year, but the recent model of the Escape defies this trend. Depending on the trim level and powertrain, customers can expect price drops ranging from 5 to 15 compared to last year’s models.

Exploring Powertrain Options

This compact SUV continues to offer a diverse range of powertrain options. The standard setup includes a 181-hp 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In addition to this, there are hybrid options available: a 192-hp hybrid and a more powerful 210-hp plug-in hybrid, featuring a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine along with electric motors.

Trim Levels and Their Pricing

The entry-level Active trim starts at ,645, reflecting a 45 drop from the previous year. Notably, the all-wheel-drive variant of this trim is priced at ,045—down 15. The sporty ST-Line trim now begins at $30,640, with discounts also applied to the higher trims, such as the ST-Line Select and Elite. Meanwhile, hybrid variants have seen price reductions, too, with the front-drive ST-Line staying competitive at ,140, yielding savings of 5. The plug-in hybrid version is competitively priced at $39,895, marking a $2100 drop from last year’s pricing.
