Revving Up in Red

Ferrari has rolled up their sleeves and dove headfirst into solving Lewis Hamilton’s pedal problems just in time for the upcoming pre-season tests of F1 2025. It’s been almost a year since his much-discussed transition from Mercedes to the iconic Scuderia team was announced. Last week, Hamilton took to the Fiorano test track for his first spin behind the wheel of the SF-23, and it was, shall we say, a mixed bag.

Pedal Problems: A Minor Setback

As the seven-time world champion completed 30 laps, reports flooded in indicating that he encountered some challenges with the car‘s pedals. Adjustments were made, yet finding a comfortable setting proved elusive. As a result, the seasoned driver found himself making a few mistakes on the track, including locking up and straying wide at both the first corner and the hairpin. Not exactly the debut Hamilton envisioned, but a classic case of new car blues.

What Lies Ahead for Hamilton and Ferrari?

After what Ferrari described as “a lot of work,” the team is optimistic that they have addressed Hamilton’s pedal woes. With the relentless pursuit of the perfect setup, both Hamilton and his new team are clearly eager to put these issues behind them. Heading into the second pre-season test, fans and pundits alike are on the edge of their seats. Will the innovations pay off? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: the reunion of Hamilton and Ferrari is shaping up to be anything but dull!
