The R18 Family Just Got a Tune-Up!

BMW has taken the iconic R18 cruiser lineup and given it a well-deserved makeover for 2025. The updates enhance five distinct models — the original R18, R18 Classic, R18 Roctane, R18B, and the flagship R18 Transcontinental. With more torque, advanced technology, and elegant styling tweaks, these cruisers are ready to hit the road in style!

Power and Performance Improvements

Operating on an 1802cc transverse twin-cylinder engine that maintains its 91bhp output, the most exciting change is the added torque. Now boasting 120.2 lb-ft, with a significant 90 percent available below 4,000rpm, riding feels smoother than ever. The standard R18 has also seen substantial changes, swapping its rear wheel from 16 to 18 inches for a sportier profile. Additionally, customers can opt for a classic cast wheel package to maintain a traditional look.

Style Meets Function

BMW didn’t stop at performance; they’ve also revamped the R18’s aesthetics. The redesigned front and rear fenders paired with re-contoured side covers produce a sharper appearance. The R18 Classic is now equipped with a new spoked front wheel, enhancing overall ride comfort with an upgraded seat featuring thicker padding. You can also bask in the luxury of modern conveniences like daytime running lights and a USB-C charging port, making your journeys even breezier.

As for the dark side, both the R18 and R18 Classic can be fitted with blacked-out equipment options for that moody aesthetic. Available in diverse color schemes from mineral grey metallic to two-tone Brooklyn grey, these cruisers are a sight to behold!

So, whether you’re a die-hard BMW fan or just in the market for a sleek cruiser, the 2025 R18 lineup promises a thrilling ride.
