Introducing the Renault Filante Record 2025

The 2025 Renault Filante Record is not just another electric vehicle; it represents a daring amalgamation of history, design, and cutting-edge technology. This ambitious concept car aims to set new standards for electric efficiency and range in the automotive industry. Renowned for their avant-garde designs, French automakers have truly outdone themselves with this bold creation, which draws inspiration from a series of record-setting vintage Renaults.

A Design Inspired by History

The aerodynamic design of the Filante Record 2025 is reminiscent of three iconic Renault models that once dominated the speed charts. Its elongated, torpedo-like body references the historic 1925 40 CV des records and the 1934 Nervesport des records, while the name itself and its flowing contours are influenced by the 1956 Étoile Filante. This innovative vehicle has been meticulously crafted in collaboration with Ligier Automotive, a company with deep roots in endurance racing.

Technological Innovations and Future Aspirations

Within its striking carbon-fiber shell, the Renault Filante Record 2025 features many groundbreaking technologies. Weighing around 2,205 pounds thanks to a lightweight construction using aluminum and advanced alloys, it makes efficient use of materials by employing computer programs to minimize weight without sacrificing rigidity. This rolling laboratory is equipped with an 87.0 kWh battery, designed specifically to maximize energy efficiency. Furthermore, the introduction of steer-by-wire systems and friction-reducing tires showcases Renault’s commitment to enhancing performance. Renault plans to first unveil this ambitious concept at the Rétromobile Show in Paris from February 5, 2025.
