Introduction to the 2025 Ram HD

The 2025 Ram Heavy Duty series has been extensively updated, with a focus on enhancing comfort and fuel efficiency rather than making drastic aesthetic changes. The redesigned grilles and new headlights are the most noticeable alterations, while the overall look remains consistent with previous models. Starting at a price of $47,560 for the Ram 2500 and $48,565 for the 3500 variant, these trucks continue to cater to both work and leisure needs.

Performance and Towing Capabilities

For 2025, the Ram Heavy Duty trucks showcase slight decreases in maximum payload and towing capacities—dropping by 90 and 480 pounds, respectively. This brings the new figures to 7,590 pounds for payload and 36,610 pounds for towing. Both models are equipped with a robust 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine, delivering 405 horsepower, and an available Cummins turbo-diesel engine that outputs 430 horsepower and a staggering 1,075 pounds-feet of torque. These enhancements ensure that the Ram HD remains one of the best-performing options in the heavy-duty pickup market.

Technological Advancements

The technology suite in the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty has been upgraded significantly. A notable new feature is the 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.25-inch passenger screen, which operate on a new electronic architecture claimed to be five times faster than previous models. Additionally, innovative towing technologies, including a 360-degree camera system for trailer guidance, enhance overall usability. Safety features have also been bolstered, accommodating a range of active safety technologies aimed at making towing safer and easier.
