BFGoodrich has made a noteworthy return to the ultra-high-performance (UHP) summer tire segment with the launch of the G-Force Phenom. The G-Force Phenom features an innovative design that introduces stiff sidewalls and shallow shoulder blocks, enhancing cornering capabilities and steering feedback. During a test session at Sonoma Raceway, BFGoodrich put the G-Force Phenom through its paces on a modified 2005 Ford Mustang GTS. The tire showed impressive predictability and control during both wet and dry conditions. Under challenging circumstances, the Phenom maintained composure, providing drivers with valuable feedback before losing grip.
