Understanding the New Warranty Scheme

On April 2, Honda Europe announced an exciting new warranty scheme for motorcycle owners, extending coverage up to six years. This new program ensures that owners can continue to ride with confidence, provided they have their bikes serviced through authorized dealerships. Unlike the standard two-year warranty that typically accompanies new motorcycles, this new scheme offers a much longer period of peace of mind.

Key Features of the Warranty

The newly introduced warranty is applicable only to road-registered Honda motorcycles. Once a motorcycle is registered, the warranty will begin from that date and may be extended for a maximum of 72 months. This gives owners the advantage of extended coverage significantly beyond the baseline coverage, as long as they adhere to the servicing requirements set by Honda.

Benefits for Motorcycle Owners

This warranty scheme serves as an excellent incentive for new motorcycle purchasers, as it emphasizes the importance of regular servicing through authorized dealers. Not only does it protect the investment made in a Honda motorcycle, but it also assures owners of the quality of maintenance received through official channels. Furthermore, this extended warranty scheme reinforces Honda’s commitment to customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability.
