Higher trims such as the X-Line and X-Pro Prestige boast more sophisticated features including panoramic sunroofs and premium audio systems, catering to a variety of customer preferences.

Powertrain Specifications

Under the hood, all non-hybrid 2026 Kia Sportage models come equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This setup delivers an impressive 187 horsepower and allows for a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds. Although official EPA fuel economy figures have not yet been revealed, Kia estimates that the front-wheel drive models achieve roughly 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
