Introducing Bosch’s Enhanced E-Bike Motors

Bosch eBike Systems, a leading supplier in Europe, has launched a remarkable suite of upgrades across its smart system lineup. These enhancements primarily focus on mid-drive motors, with key upgrades to the cargo line, performance line speed, and performance line among others. The emphasis is clearly on delivering smoother, quieter, and more customizable riding experiences.

Increased Power and Efficiency

One of the most significant upgrades is seen in the cargo line drive systems, which now boasts up to 100 Nm of torque and 750W of peak power. This represents a substantial increase from the previous 85 Nm of torque and 600W peak power rating. The new systems are lighter and quieter, thanks to refined gearboxes and improved sensors. Riders now have the ability to fine-tune their power levels directly through the eBike Flow app, enabling them to maximize torque while considering battery life and component wear.

Performance Line and New Battery Options

The performance line speed motors designed for s-pedelecs have also upgraded to reach 100 Nm of torque and 750W of peak power, providing an astonishing 400% rider-assist power. Meanwhile, the base performance line motors remain at 75 Nm of torque but now weigh less, improving the ease of riding on typical city or trekking e-bikes. Notably, Bosch has introduced a larger capacity Powertube 540 battery with 540 Wh, maintaining the same form factor as previous models. This means riders can enjoy longer rides without compromising on performance.
