Kia’s Upcoming Electric SUV: A Milestone

In just a few days, Kia will unveil its new three-row electric SUV, known as the Carens Clavis EV. This model promises to redefine family vehicles and set a new industry benchmark. It follows the successful launch of the conventional Carens in 2021, which quickly became one of India’s top-selling multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs).

What Makes the Carens Clavis EV Stand Out?

The Carens Clavis EV boasts the longest wheelbase in its class, providing ample space for families. It will be the first locally manufactured Kia EV in India and is expected to compete in the market alongside the BYD Emax 7. With an affordable price range anticipated to match the Emax 7, Kia aims to make electric mobility accessible to more consumers.

Specifications and Features to Expect

Scheduled for release on July 15, the Carens Clavis EV will feature the latest in Kia’s design language, including the “digital tiger face” and advanced lighting technologies. Underway, it will likely share its platform with the Hyundai Creta electric, offering battery options of 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. Although it’s larger than its counterparts, the electric range is expected to align closely with Kia’s goals of efficiency and sustainability.

Stay tuned for more details, including pricing and specifications, when Kia officially launches this remarkable three-row vehicle next week!
