Kibi Bear Takes the Road

From June 28 to July 19, the 2025 relay is raising funds for mental health motorbike support with a whopping £11,000 already collected at the time of writing. Among the stars of the show is Kibi Bear, a special tribute to Caistor teen Kibi Wade Barrett, who tragically left us too soon following bullying. The bear, adorned with her photo, kicked off its journey at a touching launch event, attended by her family, close friends, and around 30 riders. It’s heartwarming to see the biker community come together in occasions of remembrance and support.

Joey Bear and the Final Leg

As Kibi Bear continues its path, it will meet its fellow mascot, Joey Bear—named after biking legend Joey Dunlop. Together, they’ll zigzag their way to the finish line at the Old George Inn, Goole, after an impressive 12,600-mile odyssey. And, mark your calendars: on July 26, a memorial ride for Kibi will take off from Mimi’s Café in Manby, raising funds for the Wish Makers Motorcycle Association and UK SOBS. It’s time to steer that throttle boldly; let’s ride for those who can’t!
