In a groundbreaking partnership, General Motors (GM), Evgo, and Pilot Co. have powered through a milestone that would make any EV enthusiast’s heart race. From Coast to Coast and Beyond

Remember when this network barely spanned 25 states? Well, buckle up because it now covers almost 40 states, including the likes of Colorado, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Plus, don’t forget the rapid growth across Texas, Missouri, and Florida, especially in those rural counties where EV chargers have been as rare as a unicorn!

Charge Up with Style

Each charging stall is strategically placed at Pilot and Flying J locations, ensuring that while your vehicle gets juiced up, you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a satisfying meal, or maybe snag some snacks for the road. The EVgo chargers can deliver a staggering up to 350 kW, making downtime shorter than ever—because who has the patience to sit around? Oh, and the weather won’t be ruining your charging plans with overhead canopies to keep you dry.

Badar Khan, Evgo’s CEO, hit the nail on the head, stating that their goal is to make highway charging as flexible as an American road trip. With GM also committing to enhancing its electric model lineup, it’s clear that they aim to ensure charging access is as straightforward as a Sunday drive. By 2025, they are on track to reach 1,000 fast-charging stalls across 40 states. So, fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a thrilling ride!
