Reviving a Classic Concept
BMW has always been known for pushing the boundaries of design and functionality, and their latest urban electric concept, the Vision CE, is no exception. Drawing inspiration from the enclosed C1 scooter of the early noughties, the Vision CE is designed to let you ride without the need for a crash helmet. Innovative Design Features
The Vision CE boasts a striking design that includes a large twin-beam metal tube composite rollcage, ensuring the rider’s safety and protecting the bodywork. Unlike the original C1, it lacks full windscreen or panelling, which means it may not shield you from the elements. However, with its car-like seating position and integrated backrest, the Vision CE offers comfort and stability while riding, thanks to a twin belt harness designed to keep you securely in place.

At the heart of the Vision CE is BMW’s goal of promoting emission-free transport options for inner-city travel. Although it’s still uncertain if this innovative concept will go into production, it highlights an exciting shift in the way we think about urban mobility.
