Get Ready, Europe!

Ever wished your car could whisper sweet nothings to Mother Nature? Well, grab your popcorn because Mercedes has just rolled out the welcome mat for the future of sustainable driving with the new GLC EV! Orders are now open across nearly all European markets, and what’s more? Configuring your dream electric SUV is as easy as pie—if pie were an eco-friendly, luxurious vehicle, that is!

Pricey But Worth It?

The beginning price for the GLC EV in Germany is set at 71,281 euros (or $82,750 for those who prefer the greenback). While that might sound like you’re needing to sell a kidney, keep in mind that it’s only about 10,000 euros more than the traditional gas version. But don’t fret! Mercedes is playing Santa this Christmas with options to save—like monthly lease rates starting at 475 euros ($550). Talk about a deal you’d be nuts to pass up!

Room to Roam—And Stretch!

Aside from the all-electric powertrain that’ll leave your engine-wielding friends jealous, this new chariot offers more space than your average apartment! The extended wheelbase of the GLC EV grants you an extra 13 mm of legroom and 46 mm in headroom up front. And rear passengers—oh, bless their souls—can revel in an extra 47 mm of legroom! Whether you’re stocking up on holiday gifts or bringing home the gym equipment you swear you’ll use, the boot space offers a generous 570 liters, expanding to a whopping 1,740 liters with those rear seats folded down. And yes, there’s a frunk (front trunk) too, adding an extra 128 liters of space for your grocery hauls!
