New Kid on the Block

Hold on to your handlebars, UK riders! The electric bike arena is gearing up for a shake-up with the entrance of Yadea, the self-proclaimed heavyweight champion of electric bike manufacturing. You might not have heard of them just yet, but having sold to over 100 million customers worldwide, this Chinese brand is ready to make its mark across the pond. They recently unveiled their impressive four-bike lineup at this year’s Motorcycle Live show, and oh boy, are they ready to roll!

Your Electric Ride Options

Let’s kick off with the entry-level marvel, the GFX, priced at £2200. Don’t let its affordable price fool you; this little dynamo can zip you around with a top speed of 28mph, offering a modest range of 30 miles. Suffice to say, it’s perfect for those short jaunts to the café, but don’t expect to tour the countryside on it!

Next up is the Owin, retailing at £2700. With a more comfortable seat and additional storage, it offers the same thrilling 28mph but cranks the range up to an amazing 50 miles. Feeling the need for speed? The Velax will take you there, hitting a blistering 50mph and going 68 miles between charges, all priced at £3900. And let’s not forget the Keenness, boasting a jaw-dropping 68mph and an 80-mile range that’ll cost you £5900. Now, that’s what we call an electric thrill!

The Future Looks Bright

All models back their performance with two-year warranties and come packed with features like removable batteries, GPS tracking, and anti-theft tech. With True Enterprises handling the sales and support when these beauties hit the UK in December, it looks like the electric bike revolution has some exciting new players. Buckle up, folks; it’s going to be a wild ride!
