Introducing the Bullet 650
Royal Enfield has thrown a curveball into the motorcycle world by announcing the release of their latest masterpiece, the Bullet 650, set to hit the streets in 2026. This isn’t just any bike; it’s the latest addition chiseled from the same rock as the beloved 350. With its tried-and-true 650 engine, which made a stellar debut in the Interceptor in 2018, this motorcycle churns out just under 47bhp—a number that might not send shivers down your spine, but paired with its heritage, it certainly gets the job done.

Design and Specifications: A Heavyweight Champion
Now, if you think you’ve seen this bike before, you might be spot on. Although it has the familiar visage of the Bullet 350, the Bullet 650 boasts a few more centimeters in length and width, along with a seat height that’s lower by half a centimeter. Not a huge difference, but hey, every little bit counts when it comes to comfort, right? What truly sets this heavyweight motorbike apart at 243kg is its solid construction, stemming from the bespoke tubular steel spine frame—reminiscent of its predecessors but equipped for modern road warriors.

Braking and Upgrades: Stop Before You Drop
Now, let’s do the math. With a weight that’s nearly a hippo heavier than its Bear cousin and an additional 25kg over the Interceptor, you’d hope that the 320mm single front disc and 300mm rear disc will be more than capable of reining in this beast. The Bullet 650 also shares its guts—both the 650 parallel twin engine and a slick 6-speed gearbox—with other 650 siblings, making it not just a pretty face, but a contender to be reckoned with.
All this rideable nostalgia doesn’t come cheap, though. Pricing starts at £6,749 for the classy Canon Black paint scheme, which is a tad over £2,000 more than the 350. But for all that heritage wrapped in a modern chassis, it might just be worth every penny.
