Suzuki owners looking to inject a bit more race-bred attitude into their middleweight can now opt for a new dealer-supplied sticker kit for the Suzuki GSX-8R. Designed by Wiltshire-based GP Grafix and priced at £225 (plus fitting if you don’t fancy the DIY route), the kit wraps the 8R in a familiar white-and-blue scheme with a subtle red accent along the belly pan — a clear nod to the returning Suzuki GSX-R1000R.
Visually, it’s a clever move. The GSX-8R already blends everyday usability with sporty styling, but the factory colour options lean conservative. This kit sharpens the look without altering the bike’s approachable character. Swingarm logos and classic GSX-R cues give it that “junior superbike” feel — something the 8R arguably deserves given its balanced chassis and confident road manners.

Mechanically, nothing changes. The 776cc parallel-twin still delivers a claimed 81.7bhp — smooth, usable power that suits UK B-roads far better than peaky supersport machines of old. Compared to rivals like the Yamaha R7 or Kawasaki Ninja 650, the GSX-8R remains one of the more refined all-rounders in the segment, offering modern electronics and everyday comfort alongside credible handling.

At £8,999 base price, adding the £225 kit keeps the package comfortably under many premium middleweights. It’s also far cheaper than jumping to Suzuki’s yellow ‘Kiiro’ edition. For riders who want the GSX-R aesthetic without superbike costs or ergonomics, this strikes a sweet spot.
My view? This isn’t just a cosmetic tweak — it reinforces Suzuki’s racing identity at a time when middleweight buyers want style as much as substance. For a modest outlay, the GSX-8R feels a little closer to its superbike sibling, without sacrificing its everyday charm.
