Incredible Performance at the Erzbergrodeo

British rider Jonny Walker has recently delivered an outstanding performance at the infamous Erzbergrodeo, finishing sixth aboard Triumph’s new TF250-E, a road-legal four-stroke enduro bike. This remarkable achievement highlighted Walkers’ skills as one of the top riders in extreme enduro, proving that the Triumph TF250-E can compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Challenges of the Erzbergrodeo

The Erzbergrodeo is often regarded as one of the toughest extreme enduro races globally, with 500 riders tackling a grueling 35-kilometer course. Walker’s finish is notable, as he was one of only 14 machines to complete the course within the four-hour time limit. Impressively, his Triumph was the only four-stroke motorcycle to conquer the summit of the mine, finishing just 37 minutes behind the winner, Manuel Lettenbichler, who rode a KTM.

Walker’s Reflections and Triumph’s Achievement

Expressing his joy, Walker remarked, “What an amazing race! The bike was absolutely brilliant and didn’t miss a beat. To come here, to the toughest extreme enduro, and finish inside the top six on a four-stroke with the minimum of upgrades, I’m over the moon.” Triumph’s Head of Global Racing Programmes, Ian Kimber, also praised Walker’s feat, stating, “What Jonny accomplished today is nothing short of remarkable.” This performance not only underscores Walker’s talent but also the capabilities of the newly launched Triumph TF250-E.
