Specifications and Features of the FT450

This new single-cylinder slide machine is purpose-built specifically for Royal Enfield’s 2025 Slide School programme, in association with Dirt Craft and UK flat track champion Gary Birtwistle. The bike houses a robust liquid-cooled 450cc Sherpa engine, delivering an impressive 40bhp and 29.5lb.ft of torque. Coupled with a stripped-down chassis and bespoke flat track bodywork, it boasts custom 19-inch rims and a full-system exhaust designed to enhance performance and sound.

Royal Enfield isn’t stopping with the FT450. Social media teasers have hinted at an upcoming twin-cylinder Himalayan model. This exciting new offering is expected to feature a 648cc air/oil-cooled motor, similar to those found in the Interceptor and Continental models.
