This race celebrated the centenary of the event and witnessed Marquez overcoming the aftermath of two high-speed crashes during Friday’s practice sessions.

The race took an early turn when Ai Ogura and Miguel Oliveira both crashed out at the same corner on the first lap, resulting in immediate retirements. Meanwhile, Bezzecchi made an impressive charge, securing third place with a daring maneuver against Gresini’s Alex Marquez on the last corner. KTM’s Pedro Acosta also demonstrated his skills, moving up to fourth after overtaking Marquez with aggression. The battle between these riders highlighted the competitive nature of the field.

Marquez’s Strong Performance

Despite facing setbacks, Marquez regained his momentum by making a decisive move to take the lead on lap 5. However, during a fierce battle with Acosta, he suffered a crash that resulted in him retiring from the race after fracturing his left hand. Nonetheless, Marquez managed to maintain the lead against Bezzecchi as the latter chased him throughout the race. Ultimately, Marquez equaled Giacomo Agostini’s record, standing as the second rider with the most MotoGP wins at 68. Bezzecchi finished a commendable second, securing two podiums over the weekend.
