Introduction to the Teaser
Honda has set the motorcycle community abuzz with their latest teaser video featuring the highly anticipated forced-induction V3 engine concept. Running publicly on a dyno for the first time, this 50-second clip provides us our first glance at the new triple-cylinder powerplant.

What We Know So Far
Unveiled initially at last year’s EICMA motorcycle trade show, specifications for this innovative engine remain largely under wraps. However, we do know that it boasts a unique 75-degree water-cooled triple-cylinder arranged in a V layout. The icing on the cake? This engine integrates an electric motor-powered compressor to force intake air, a feature unprecedented in motorcycling!

A Promising Future
The teaser concludes with a thrilling whooshing sound as the compressor spools up, plus a tantalizing glimpse of the engine starting up. Exciting times lie ahead, as we might see a live demonstration of this remarkable system shortly. While full specifications remain a mystery, Honda has hinted at potential revelations at upcoming events. The design appears to lean towards a naked roadster-type machine, sparking curiosity about a complete reveal later this year.
As Costantino Paolacci, Honda’s Italian communications director noted, they are proud of this engineering achievement, which aims to enhance performance by delivering the power equivalent to a larger engine while maintaining a more compact size. It seems the V3 will pave the way for a lineup of new models, promising to change the face of motorcycling.
