The Thrill of Stunting
British stunt legend Jonny Davies is poised for an electrifying comeback, gearing up to break not one, but two Guinness World Records. Armed with his modified Kawasaki ZX-10R, Davies is ready to elevate thrill-seeking to new heights at Elvington Airfield. Known for his daring feats, Davies takes the term ‘high-speed antics’ to a whole new level!

Chasing Records: High Chair Wheelie and Backwards Riding
Davies aims to reclaim his title as the world’s fastest in a ‘high chair wheelie,’ attempting a speed of 135mph. Additionally, he’s targeting the breathtaking feat of riding backward at an astonishing 160mph! “I might look unhinged when I’m riding, but I’m actually pretty calculated,” he quips. His past experiences motivate this quest for speed, especially as he reminisces about inspirations like Dave Coates and Gary Rothwell. With Coates holding the backwards riding record since 2002, Davies is on a mission to topple it!

The Kawasaki ZX-10R: A Perfect Stunt Companion
Having upgraded from a Suzuki GSX-R1000 K3, Davies describes his Kawasaki ZX-10R as “a bit of a weapon.” The modifications he’s made, including a rear hand-operated brake and bar-mounted gear shifter, showcase his dedication to precision and performance. With each practice session, he inches closer to his goal speeds, with September being a potential window for these record attempts, weather permitting.
If you’re interested in supporting this adrenaline-fueled journey, Jonny Davies is looking for sponsors to join him on this wild ride into the record books. Buckle up, because it’s going to be one thrilling experience!
