Introducing the E-Vanvan

Suzuki is turning heads at the Japan Mobility Show with its exciting new line-up of next-gen sustainable concepts. Leading the charge is the e-Vanvan, an urban electric naked bike that boasts a funky design reminiscent of the 1970s. While official details are still under wraps, this innovative vehicle promises to shake up the electric vehicle scene.

A Throwback with a Modern Twist

The e-Vanvan retains the charm of the iconic Vanvan 125, which first hit the UK in 2003, featuring large balloon tyres and retro styling. However, it significantly deviates from its combustion counterpart with a sleeker profile, including a flatter bench seat and thin neck bodywork. Its design aims to attract urban riders searching for an exciting alternative to traditional petrol bikes.

Designed for Urban Adventures

Measuring just 1810mm in length and with a low seat height that sits comfortably below the rider’s waist, the e-Vanvan is perfectly tailored for navigating city streets. With a total height of 1050mm, it promises easy access for urban dwellers seeking a fun way to bypass public transport. Plus, its compact width of 825mm enables effortless maneuverability through heavy traffic.

Although the e-Vanvan is still in the show phase with no confirmed production date, its electric performance aligns with the growing trend in urban electric vehicles. As competing brands release lower-capacity electric offerings, Suzuki’s e-Vanvan is poised to captivate riders who desire both functionality and flair in their daily commute.
