The Future of Electric Trucking

Terawatt Infrastructure has recently unveiled its newest commercial electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Rialto, California. This state-of-the-art facility offers a vital resource for electric truck fleets, creating a high-speed charging stop along one of the busiest freight routes in the U.S. Located on the eastbound side of I-10, this hub is expertly designed to cater to heavy-duty fleet needs, particularly for trucks traveling between the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

A Seamless Charging Experience

According to Neha Palmer, Terawatt’s CEO and cofounder, “Our network enables companies to reduce emissions and run a variety of routes across different vehicle classes with the confidence of a dependable charging solution.” With the Rialto site, EV fleets can now travel more efficiently and sustainably, all while maintaining smooth operational flow. The facility features 18 pull-through 350 kW DC fast-charging stalls, providing the quick charging needed for heavy-duty trucks to keep moving.

Enhanced Amenities for Drivers

In addition to robust charging capabilities, the hub is equipped with essential amenities for truck drivers. This includes 55 bobtail parking stalls, a driver lounge with Wi-Fi, climate control, and restrooms. Furthermore, it boasts license plate recognition for rapid entry, solar canopies, and 100% renewable-powered charging, ensuring a green energy solution. With 24/7 security, complete with cameras and gated access, Terawatt is committed to providing a safe and efficient charging environment for all users.
