Introducing the BZ3X
This March, GAC Toyota launched the BZ3X in China—a compact electric SUV designed with young families in mind. As Toyota’s first 100,000 yuan-level pure electric SUV, it starts at a jaw-dropping price of just 109,800 yuan (around $15,000). This affordable EV opens the door for families looking to make the switch to electric without breaking the bank!

Sales Success in China
Since its debut, the BZ3X has become a real sensation. By May, it secured its place as the best-selling foreign-owned electric vehicle in China, surpassing stiff competition from models like the Volkswagen ID.3 and the BMW i3. The momentum hasn’t slowed down; GAC Toyota reported that sales of the BZ3X topped 10,000 units for two consecutive months, with a total of over 62,000 units sold since its launch.

Impressive Features and Capabilities
Measuring 4,645 mm in length, the BZ3X delivers spaciousness without compromising on agility—comparable in size to BYD’s popular Yuan Plus. Inside, it boasts a significant upgrade from traditional Toyota vehicles, featuring advanced ADAS technologies, smart storage solutions, and large digital displays that cater to modern family needs. With options for both 50.04 kWh and 67.92 kWh battery packs, this electric SUV can achieve impressive ranges of 430 km and 610 km, respectively.
As the electric vehicle market heats up in China, the BZ3X demonstrates how affordability and technology can go hand in hand, making electric mobility accessible to everyone.
