Big Hero 5: 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition Goes

John Stamos! Or, for those under 40: Josh Peck. Hyundai Ioniq 5. That’s because the Platinum Road Trip Social Series, a short run of videos on the Disney YouTube channel featuring the aforementioned actors in the aforementioned all-electric Hyundai, launches Tuesday. The videos will have Stamos and Peck visiting historic Disney locations in an Ioniq 5 as part of Disney’s centennial celebration. Fans of Disney, Hyundai or marketing partnerships can get a piece of this historic moment by scooping up a 2024 Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition of their own.

 

Inside, the model gets an exclusive brown-and-gray two-tone interior with unique trim and Disney100 logos on the front head restraints, center console and floormats, as well as a special Disney-themed startup animation on the infotainment screen. Outside, the limited-edition Ioniq 5 features more unique badging and exclusive 20-inch wheels that.

Based on the 320-horsepower, dual-motor all-wheel-drive Ioniq 5, the Disney100 Platinum Edition should be good for an EPA-estimated 260 miles per charge. Hyundai will only build 1,000 of the special-edition Ioniq 5s, and they’re available now at select dealerships for $60,775 (including $1,375 destination).
