The all-new electric version of the Equinox compact SUV is available with front- or all-wheel drive and will come standard with a 17.7-inch touchscreen, DC fast-charging capability and a full suite of safety features.
Most Equinox EVs are available to order now, but the entry-level 1LT trim will be arriving later in 2024. Line pricing, including $1,395 destination, is as follows; AWD adds $3,300 to all trims.

Chevrolet has confirmed that the Equinox EV qualifies for the full federal EV tax credit, meaning that many buyers will see those prices drop by up to $7,500, though income limits on buyer eligibility mean not everyone can claim the credit.
Every 2024 Equinox EV features a comprehensive suite of safety tech. Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist, a following-distance indicator and automatic high beams.
Additional standard safety equipment on the Equinox EV includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot steering assist, rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking and GM’s safety alert seat, which vibrates the sides of the driver’s seat’s bottom cushion to warn of potential hazards.
Every 2024 Equinox EV also includes an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and a 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-In, which includes Google Maps, Google Assistant and the Google Play Store, where owners can download additional apps directly to the infotainment system. Other than its impressive tech suite, the 1LT will be fairly basic, with manually adjustable front seats and 19-inch wheels.
It’s a significant step up from the 1LT to the 2LT ($8,300, to be exact), but that nets buyers synthetic leather upholstery in gray or black with blue accents, heated front seats and steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree parking camera system, an LED light bar across the electric SUV’s nose, roof rails, heated side mirrors and a power liftgate. The Super Cruise hands-free highway driving system is available on the 2LT and above, as is a contrasting white roof and panoramic moonroof.
The 3LT adds a power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, dual-zone climate control, a heated windshield wiper rest and 21-inch wheels.
RS content parallels that of the equivalent LT trims — 2RS to 2LT, 3RS to 3LT — with a few extras for a sportier look. The roof rails, side mirrors, front end and 21-inch wheels are finished in black, and the available two-tone roof switches from white to black.
