The automaker says changes to the mid-size SUV signal “a new appetite for big adventures,” but released few details aside from a teaser image.
The new model’s grille wears more squared-off styling with large Passport lettering across the front, along with new TrailSport-exclusive amber daytime running lights.
For 2024, the TrailSport variant upgraded to General Grabber A/Tx all-terrain tires mounted on 18-inch wheels, and Honda tweaked its off-road suspension with revised spring rates, dampers and stabilizer bars.
The current Passport, which was first introduced for model-year 2019, gets power from a 3.5-liter V-6 engine making 280 horsepower and 262 pounds-feet of torque. It pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
