2025 Jeep Compass: Staying the Course with Unchanged Pricing and New Features

Introduction

The 2025 Jeep Compass continues its legacy as a crucial part of Jeep’s lineup, entering its ninth year in the current generation. As the third bestselling vehicle for Jeep, trailing behind the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler, the Compass retains its starting price and introduces a new color option. Here’s a comprehensive look at what the 2025 model has to offer.

Powertrain and Performance

Every 2025 Jeep Compass is equipped with a 200-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 221 pounds-feet of torque. This is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all models come standard with all-wheel drive. The off-road-focused Trailhawk trim features a two-speed transfer case with a low range. While the official EPA ratings for the 2025 model are not yet available, they are expected to remain similar to the 2024 model, which returned 24/32/27 mpg city/highway/combined.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Jeep Compass is now available for purchase. The starting price for the entry-level Sport trim remains at $27,495, including a $1,595 destination charge. Pricing for mid-trim Latitude Lux will be announced at a later date. Other trims are priced as follows: Latitude at $31,865, Limited at $35,540, and Trailhawk at $35,760.

Trim Levels and Safety Features

The Compass offers a range of trims, each with its own set of features. The base Sport trim includes 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, cloth seats, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Latitude trim adds keyless entry, vinyl seats with cloth inserts, and automatic high beams. The Latitude Lux further enhances comfort with 18-inch satin wheels, heated seats, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen.

The Trailhawk trim, designed for off-road adventures, features 17-inch all-terrain tires, skid plates, and red tow hooks. It also offers leather-trimmed upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control. At the top of the lineup, the Limited trim includes synthetic leather seating, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a windshield wiper de-icer.

Standard safety features across all trims include forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-centering steering, and blind spot monitors. Optional driver-assist systems, such as adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera system, are available on select trims.

Conclusion

As it enters its ninth year, the 2025 Jeep Compass maintains its importance within the Jeep lineup by keeping its starting price consistent while adding new features and color options. Whether you are looking for a reliable daily driver or an off-road adventurer, the Compass offers a variety of trims and features to meet diverse needs.
