Introduction

The 2025 Audi Q5 remains one of the brand’s bestselling vehicles, nearly outselling its second and third most popular models combined. Despite being one of the oldest products in Audi’s lineup, the Q5 continues to captivate buyers with its new option packages and robust array of features.

Powertrains and Trim Levels

The 2025 Q5 lineup offers a variety of powertrains to suit different needs. The basic Q5 comes with three versions of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The Q5 40 delivers 201 horsepower and 236 pounds-feet of torque, while the Q5 45 offers 261 hp and 273 pounds-feet. The Q5 55, a plug-in hybrid, combines the four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a 17.9-kilowatt-hour battery, producing a total of 362 hp and 369 pounds-feet of torque, with an electric range of 23 miles. The SQ5 features a 349-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 good for 369 pounds-feet. Both the Q5 and SQ5 come standard with all-wheel drive, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission for the Q5 and an eight-speed automatic for the SQ5.

New Features and Option Packages

For 2025, Audi has added keyless entry to all Q5 variants, keyless starting for the Q5 40, and red brake calipers for the SQ5 and SQ5 Sportback. Navigation and customizable ambient lighting are now standard on Premium Plus trims. New option packages include the Convenience Plus Package for the Q5 40 and Q5 45, featuring a panoramic moonroof, digital instrument panel, and driver’s seat memory settings. The Q5 45 Premium Plus and Sportback offer the Black Optic Plus Package, which includes black exterior trim, roof rails, and a black headliner.

Special Packages for the SQ5

The SQ5 also gets new packages, including a Black Optic Plus Package with two-tone 20-inch wheels and black finishes on exterior trim and badging. For those seeking a more distinctive look, the Magnesium Gray Package combines gold 21-inch wheels with gray front spoilers, rear diffuser inlays, and sill panels, along with black exterior trim and darkened headlights.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Audi Q5 and SQ5 will be available later this year. Pricing, including the ,295 destination fee, starts at ,695 for the Q5 40, ,095 for the Q5 S Line 45, and rises to ,795 for the Q5 S Line 55 plug-in hybrid. The SQ5 starts at $59,695, while the SQ5 Sportback begins at $63,095.
