Introduction to the Electric MINI John Cooper Works

MINI has made waves at the Paris Motor Show with the unveiling of their first-ever fully electric John Cooper Works models, designed for performance enthusiasts seeking greener options. These innovative vehicles, based on the Cooper electric and Aceman models, offer an impressive 255 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, promising to set new benchmarks in the hot hatch segment.

Exceptional Performance and Specifications

Both the MINI John Cooper Works electric and the Aceman are engineered to deliver exhilarating performance. The Cooper model can achieve 0-62 mph in just 5.9 seconds, while the Aceman follows closely with a time of 6.4 seconds. Crucially, with a top speed of 124 mph and equipped with a 54.2 kWh battery, the Cooper offers approximately 230 miles of range on a single charge, while the Aceman is rated at around 220 miles. These specifications signify that the new models are not only powerful but also practical for everyday driving needs.

A Blend of Performance and Design

What sets apart the John Cooper Works lineup is its unique blend of racetrack-inspired technology and everyday usability. The new electric boost function enhances power delivery, giving drivers an additional 20 kW at the push of a button for quick overtakes. Moreover, both models emphasize a thrilling go-kart feel, featuring high-performance tires, upgraded brakes, and a striking aesthetic outlined by distinctive designs such as the iconic red, white, and black logo, and sleek LED headlights. These details not only enhance performance but also reflect the vehicle’s dynamic character.
