Power and Performance Redefined

One of the key highlights of the 2026 KTM 690 Enduro R is the heavily revised LC4 engine. KTM has confirmed that almost 50% of its components have been updated or replaced, leading to an increase in torque over the previous model’s impressive 54.2 ft-lb. While specific power output figures are yet to be disclosed, these enhancements are a clear indication that riders can expect improved performance on trails and tracks alike.

Enhanced Features for Better Ride Experience

In addition to the engine upgrades, the chassis of the 2026 model has been engineered for improved feel and rigidity. Riders will also appreciate subtle yet impactful ergonomic adjustments and bodywork evolution, making the bike more comfortable. A striking new addition is the 4.2-inch TFT display, replacing the older LCD unit. This digital dashboard not only enhances visibility but allows riders to stay connected through KTM’s phone pairing system. Incoming calls, turn-by-turn navigation, and music streaming can now be managed directly from the bike.

Moreover, new electronic features include cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and three selectable ride modes: street, sport, and an optional rally mode. Completing the redesign is a user-friendly switchgear, featuring backlit buttons and an integrated ABS-off switch, improving overall ride ergonomics. As excitement builds, the 2026 KTM 690 Enduro R is poised to set new standards in the adventure bike market.
