First Official Look at the New Hyundai EV
The wait is almost over! Next month’s Munich Motor Show is set to unveil Hyundai’s much-anticipated new electric vehicle (EV). Recently, the automaker dropped the first official images, sparking discussions on whether this model will be referred to as the Ioniq 2 or 3. Whichever the case, the buzz around this entry-level EV is generating a lot of excitement in the automotive world!

What We Know So Far
Rumors have been swirling for months, particularly after numerous prototypes were spotted testing on public roads. From what we see in the teaser images, the design leans towards an SUV-like style reminiscent of the Kia EV2 concept. The rear spoiler resembles that of the updated Ioniq 6 and is likely to include a full-length LED light bar, which enhances the vehicle’s aesthetics.
Advanced Features Awaiting Us
The new Hyundai EV is expected to be built on the e-GMP platform, placing it squarely between the Inster EV and Kona Electric in the lineup. Inside, it promises upgrades like a new infotainment system powered by the advanced Pleos OS, making it more intuitive and smartphone-like for users.
While specifics on pricing and range are yet to be revealed, expectations are that the new model will be competitively priced around £25,000 ($33,700), with impressive battery options promising ranges of up to 365 miles. The buzz is palpable, and we can’t wait for the official debut!
