Introduction to BSA’s Revitalization

Following the recent launch of the new Bantam and Scrambler models, BSA is making waves in the motorcycle scene. Despite having an electric prototype ready to roll, BSA has chosen to stick with its compact three-bike range for the foreseeable future. This strategy reflects a careful approach to re-establishing the brand in a competitive market.

The Remarkable Bantam

The reborn Bantam, part of BSA’s revitalized lineup, features a 334cc liquid-cooled single engine, delivering a leisurely 28.7bhp and 21.8lb.ft of torque. Priced at £3499, it undercuts Honda’s GB350 by £500, while also going head-to-head with Royal Enfield’s J series. The intense interest in the Bantam350 has already translated into over 600 orders within just a few weeks!

Looking Ahead: BSA’s Future

Classic Legends co-founder Anupam Thareja emphasizes that this three-model strategy—a Scrambler, Gold Star, and Bantam—is perfect for introducing BSA to the world. With unprecedented demand in the UK, there are ambitious plans underway to expand to 50 dealers. BSA isn’t expanding their petrol bike range just yet, but already has an electric bike in development, indicating their commitment to embracing the electric vehicle market in due time.

As the market awaits BSA’s next steps, the brand clearly aims to let customers dictate their direction. With a focus on quality and demand, BSA seems well-positioned to re-establish its legacy in the coming years.
